WHY PURSUE B. TECH?

An engineer is a problem solver. Engineers use their knowledge to provide solutions to complex situations. Engineering covers a wide range of disciplines anything from rockets to mobile phones, from big dams to small homes and even in health services like knee replacements. Engineering is not just about ‘fixing things’, it is about understanding how and why things work.

Engineering is an exciting career. Engineers achieve great things. Throughout history, people working in engineering have contributed to their communities, countries, colleagues and civilizations by making tools, machines and countless other things to help people improve their lives and progress onto better things.

Being an engineer means you get to be the first to develop or try out new technologies like artificial hearts, developing and delivering better constructed, environmentally sustainable buildings like the first undersea house.

Engineers design and build virtual reality worlds viz. soccer fields or new planets. Engineers discover and patent new materials that can cure cancer or cure the common cold. Engineers are involved in making the future a reality.

ADMISSION PROCESS

The registration forms are available on website, in the institute and at city office. The forms should be duly filled and attached with photocopies of testimonials, recent colored passport size photograph and cash / demand draft / pay order of registration amount of Rs. 20,000/- in favor of "BUDDHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY" payable at Gorakhpur which will be adjusted towards fees.

ADMISSION IN B.TECH FIRST YEAR

Admission to B. Tech first year will be made as per the rules prescribed by the AKTU. Candidates who have passed intermediate of U.P. board or (10 + 2) from other board with Physics & Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Bio Technology/Computer Science/ Biology are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B. Tech. course. Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths at 10+2 level (any board) OR rank in AKTU SEE/AIEEE for GEN/OBC/MINORITY. (In case of SC/ST, it is 45%)

ADMISSION IN B.TECH SECOND YEAR

Candidates who have passed 2/3 year Diploma OR B.Sc. Maths (with minimum 50% marks) from institutions recognized by the U.P Board of Technical Education in any branch of Engineering except Agriculture Engg. are eligible for admission to Second year of B.Tech. course.

The scholarships are aimed at encouraging and promoting academic and leadership excellence and awarding the meritorious students who take admission in BIT. BIT 10+2 Scholarship

To encourage meritorious students, BIT provides scholarship to students who have secured good marks in 10+2 board exams (applicable only in 1st year).
